Director of Banking Sales - EMEA

The Director of Banking Sales role will have mandate to expand our presence within the EMEA Region (Europe, Middle East, Africa) with priority focus in the European market and an expectation for growing our core business specifically within the Banking and Payments Partners channel. This role is based out of our London office and will report directly into the Head of Sales, EMEA.

The successful candidate will join a team that has the primary objective of achieving new business revenue targets set by the Vice-President of Sales, Americas & EMEA Regions and the Fraedom Executive Board. This role is a highly important position within Fraedom as the opportunity to grow its business within the EMEA Region and is considered a strategic priority. Expectations for the role will include the following:

  • Develop individual sales strategy
  • Prepare and manage sales pipeline
  • Align sales strategy with established performance objectives
  • Delivers against established revenue targets
  • Leads prospecting and sales efforts to pursue new business within the Banking and Payments Partners channel within either the assigned territory or targeted customer segment
  • Leads RFX responses associated with assigned territory or targeted customer segment
  • Learns and follows formalized consultative sales approach and tools used by Fraedom
  • Utilizes CRM tool to ensure contacts and pipeline information is up-to-date
  • Provide reports to Head of Sales EMEA as needed. 
  • Work collaboratively with members of Fraedom’s Marketing, Consulting, Operations, Finance and Legal teams to ensure alignment and mutual success is realized

What you will need...

Valuable Experience

  • Minimum of 5-10 years proven results in B2B executive sales
  • Significant experience selling to Banks and Corporates and selling to C-suite.
  • Strong understanding and experience in commercial payments (cards, payables, expense
    management), acquiring and/or SaaS software
  • Disciplined in either or both consultative and/or challenger sales processes
  • Ability to work independently and drive results
  • Savvy with financial model modelling and business case preparation
  • Advanced communication & presentation skills
  • Persuasiveness
  • Teamwork and collaboration
  • Technology savvy with experience using CRM tools
  • Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel  
  • Minimum undergraduate degree (business preferred)
  • Strong command of the English language (both verbal and written)
  • Additional language skills in other key markets within EMEA
  • Significant travel (within the EMEA Region)
